Some icons in apple watch app not loading

For some reason, many of the icons in the apple watch app are not loading. My Apple Watch steel is paired with an Iphone 6 plus. I've unpaired and re-paired the the watch and the problem persists. The main standard icons, like those for Airplane Mode, Apple Watch, General, Glances, etc. load. But the apps don't seem to be loading icons. So I don't have icons for Activity, Calendar, Mail, Maps, etc. Some of the purchased apps will load icons after a couple of minutes.

Not sure what's going on.

How can you tell which applications belong to the unloaded icons (or vice versa I guess)? I just jogged through all the "possible" apps listed in the Watch apps, clicked on each and looked to see if the toggle was on... Which is a pain in the *** BTW, what a stupid setup. The only ones that are on are installed and visible/working. I have no idea what these 3 gray icons are for.

If you the the watch screen for a few seconds, all the app icons start to wiggle and the non default apps have a small x. If you then touch one of the blank icons, it asks you if you want to delete that app, showing its name.

I`m having the same problem. I have three icons that were there, but now aren`t, just the circle. My ESPN, Around Me, and Pandora are blank. Waiting for answer also.

OK, this fixed my issue. I went into the Iphone and deleted the apps that were`t showing up, then re-installed them, and the icons were there. Hope this helps.
