Trouble with MLB tv and Apple TV.

Purchased year subscription for MLB on my Apple Tv. I thought I would receive some sort of information on user name or account info for MLB. I cannot look at anything on the app about my account/ user ID. Because I have no username I cannot watch this on my laptop, phone, or any other device. Any ideas?
