My iphone 6 won't charge, how can i fix it

So earlier today I plug my iPhone into my iHom, which is where I've been charging it recently. Anyway, my phone was not charging. It did show the Lightning next to the battery sign but it wasn't charging. I didn't think anything of it at that moment. So I tried using a different cable and even different cubes. By this time, my phone is at 1%, I take my chances and turn it off so I could restart it, maybe thats what I needed. So I did that. I go and buy a new charger. I plug my phone in, and you know when your phone is completely dead but if it's charging, it'll just show the battery with the thin red line, indicating that it's dead but it's charging? Well it's been like that for an hour and my phone still won't charge. Help!
