When I block someone, will all old messages be deleted from both devices?
I was wondering if I block a person in my contacts, will it delete all old messages from both my device and the other users device/

No, just your device, not on the other persons device.
She/He won't be able to reply, send, call, or anything that has to be with your number, but she still has access to previous data (messages, call logs, etc) done before blocked
