I push it in, and it doesn't fully go in. It doesn't charge and when the cable is plugged in it pops out by itself. How much would a repair be at the genius bar. (Iphone from Tmobile). Theres nothing inside the slot like lint or dirt. Thanks.

Something has to be interfering with the cable. Have you tried another cable, or tried that cable in another device with a lightning slot? It is either the cable end, or something in the slot that is preventing it from seating correctly. Use a bright flashlight and magnifying glass to see. It could be a bent pin. If so, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store to have the device checked. I recommend you bring the cable you are having issues with as well to have them examine both.
What's a bent pin? I don't know there's nothing inside. But when I push it in, it's like something's blocking it. Yes, I've tried other cables. It looks like theres something sticking out of the slot. Not sure.
If it looks like something is sticking out, it probably is. There are wires inside the slot. Make the Genius Bar appointment and have Apple check the device.
My iphone 6 lightning cable does not fit in the slot. Help?!?!
