Final Cut Pro X not showing all events

I just noticed that I have an event that is not displaying in Final Cut Pro X. When I view the package contents of my library from Finder, I see the event listed and the media within the event. However, when in Final Cut Pro X, I do not see that event listed. Has anyone ever experienced this? I am on version 10.2.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Usually this means some corruption in the library database.

You can try opening a recent backup: with the library selected in FCP X, choose File->Open Library->From Backup...

If that does not solve it, quit FCP X, locate the library in the Finder, control-click Show Package Contents... and then drag the .flexolibrary file inside to the trash. Start FCP X again. Hopefully it will rebuild the library database from the contents and recover the event.

Thanks. I wasn't able to do a recent backup as we were away on vacation and apparently no backups ran during that time so I didn't have anything recent to use. I chose the 2nd option which put the event back in my viewer in Final Cut, but it doesn't have any of the media in the event. Do you know what the easiest way to get the media to appear is? I can re-import it, but not sure if that is the best option.

Thanks!
