My Computer Won't Connect To My iPhone's Hotspot

I have two MacBook Airs, one of which I recently erased. After that, the iCloud hotspot will show up but hen an error message saying it could not connect to the hotspot. On my other MacBook Air, it works fine. On the one I erased, the regular hotspot does not show up because the iCloud one is already there.
