23 inch Apple Cinema HD Display compatibility

I was given the 23-inch Cinema HD monitor. Is it compatible with the Mac BookPro mid 2012. The monitor is M8536, I guess is the model number. Looks to have the ADC connector, if Wikipedia is correct and I'm looking at the right thing. Is it possible to have the monitor work the the MacBook Pro and if so, what cables do I need to purchase?
