Lost folder and all its contents
I inadvertently moved my main music folder and it disapeared with all its contents.
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
Have you tried Spotlight?

Hi Thanks for the reply. I found the solution by going into Finder/ Preferences/Sidebar and ticking the Music folder Box and it came back with all the files intact.
Hope this helps other people out there
Removing Music from the sidebar is only removing a link to your music folder. Not actually deleting / moving anything. Just like removing the HDD icon from the desktop doesn't remove your hard drive, only the shortcut.
The list in the sidebar is only there for quick access and only links to the original folders / destinations.
