Wins 8.1 freezing

I've got a MBP Retina 2015 and have installed Windows 8.1 via bootcamp.

All generally works well - except that fairly frequently, when running Windows, the whole thing freezes. Only solution is to hold down power button and restart.

This only seems to happen when running on battery power - when plugged in there are no issues.

Anyone else having/had this issue and any ideas on what can be done to resolve it?

1. Are there any external devices connected when Windows running on batteries freezes?

2. Do you see any events in Windows Event Viewer after you restart for timestamps around when it freezes?

3. Are there any unknown devices in Control Panel -> Device Manager?

4. If you enable Remote Desktop Access, can you remotely access the Mac while Windows is running?
