i can't connect my to iTunes because it wants me unlock my phone but i can't because my screen is broken

my iPhone screen is broken and when i connect to iTunes it says i need to unlock it with the passcode. but i cant as my screen is broken. how can i get it to connect so i can back my phone up before i get it fixed
