Airport backup stopped working

Our airport device had an unlucky day: 2 power outages. I unplugged it of course, but after the power came back and I plugged it back in, I heard a beeping alarm. Now the light blinks amber.

I can still connect to internet, but time machine backup doesn't work, so disk probably needs repairing.

I'm not a computer wizz, just a regular user, but the nearest app shop is an island away. Is there anything I can try? Appreciate your help.
