Swipe down while on the Home screen, starting in the middle of the screen.
Hold down the power/home button for 10 seconds until it restarts then try again.
HI Lawrence, thanks but I've tried that and it doesn't work. It just goes to the Today screen and Notifications.
That means that you are swiping from the TOP of the screen instead of the MIDDLE of the screen. Find the middle, both side to side and top to bottom, and swipe down from there.
