I can't find my Macintosh HD icon in the list of devises. Help!

I can't find my Macintosh HD icon in the list of devices & it isn't under applications or system profiler or the Dock.

It is tied in with a slideshow which it names but shows the HD icon. Only the slideshow will come up.

I have a 2009 MacBook Pro 13in using Safari 10.6. Can someone help me? I am not computer literate.
