i was wondering can I get a storage upgrade from 128gb to 256gb from apple on my Mabook Air 13" Mid 2012 if not if I do it myself what could happen i have already run out of warranty?

I recently upgraded my mid-2012 MacBook Air to 1Tb solid state drive. Very happy with it. Go to the OWC site and answer the questions (serial number etc) and you will see if you can do it. It is true that the later MacBook Airs do have non upgradeable boards but yours might be old enough to be OK
