How to turn off Bluetooth Notifications (iPhone 5)

Ever since I updated to iOS7.0 (or possibly 8.0), I get frequent notifications reminding me to turn on "Bluetooth" to use for one app or another and I haven't been able to figure out how to get rid of this annoying pop-up in Settings. I usually have my Bluetooth disabled since I don't have any immediate use for it and to help conserve battery life. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There is no need to turn off BlueTooth to preserve battery life. It uses no power when not connected, and only 10 milliwatts when connected. What apps what you to turn on BlueTooth? It isn't a usual request.

There were multiple apps that were giving me the notification (Simon Mall, Skylanders Lost Islands). I finally just decided to enable the bluetooth and I guess that it's not draining the battery as much as I somehow thought that it did. Thanks for your response.
