What? No way to drag/drop iPhoto to desktop now?

Question

Working on a mac, 2 years old, iPhoto Version 1.0 (209.52.0)

and suddenly there is a whole new set up of iPhoto

but worse! no way to drag and drop to desktop? I am not sophisticated so really needed the desktop as way to move a lot of things around.

Now I cannot get photo onto a forwarded email, etc.

Bummer. I see a lot of complaints about this on one board but I never posted before.

Any help....??? Just iPhoto to desktop would be great help! Linda

Make sure the images are imported first then you can drag and drop.

Odd, after I sent that question, several minutes later the two photos I needed showed up on the desktop.

Not what I like or expected but at least they showed up. They had been imported weeks ago.

Oh well. Thanks for a reply...nice to know folks are out there who look at questions submitted....🙂
