How to separate computers that were using same Apple id

MY husband and I share the same Apple ID. I could never get everything seperated so he has created his own Apple ID. But now I still can't get it all seperated. I don't want his bookmarks on my computer and vice versa and I don't want his photos on my phone. We thought the best solution was For him to set up his own Apple ID and started with the computer but my bookmarks still flow to his computer. And yes I know I'm an idiot so please no Comments telling me how old and stupid I am when it comes to technology
