As a new product

i want to buy a macbook pro retina 15" and i cant see any cd or dvd rom on it

how could i put a disk into it?

and one more question is that how can i find my expected mac model?

for example Me-xxx

what model shoul i buy?

what should i say when i want to buy?&how can i see that model on the system?

1. Most Apple products no longer include CD/DVD drives. The storage capacity of these disks is just to small to be useful now. If you really need one, buy an external one. They're very cheap. I was concurrent about this when I switched to a Mac mini, too. That was two and a half years ago. I never once found myself missing it.


2. Models Names are referred to in the style of Mac mini (Late 2012), etc. To find out the official Model Identifier of the model you want, visit Apple website and check the Tech Specs section.


3. To find out this info on an actual Mac, select About this Mac > System Report from theApple menu.
