Very little background information for us to go on which is why nobody has touched this one in 8 hours. 🙂
What do you mean by copied CD? One you ripped? How did you copy this CD? What have you done with the files since then? What exact error message are you seeing?
sorry i have iMac and iTunes , i have inported a cd , and it list all the tracks copied but when i press play it just skips through all tracks and it says under time and track name not available
ripped cd as standard when put cd in drive iTunes asked would you like to import cd i said yes so it imported cd then i went to recently added which showed tracks , pessed play and it just skips tracks listed ,but under time attest so on it says under time not available ?
It sounds to me like the CD is not ripping properly. Have you looked at the actual files produced? Are they the size you would expect (tens of MB each) for the tracks, or are they basically zero k in size? Is iTunes skipping through them because there is no data?
At this point is is pure guesswork until you analyze the situation further. You can try restarting the computer. It may be the CD is bad. It may be your drive is bad. It may be an issue with iTunes and you can try a third party ripper.
thank you for trying to help me , i will look at the things you have said many thanks
