removing a partition for boot camp

I installed a partition years ago but never installed Windows. The partition is still on my disk and I want to remove it. What is the best way and safest way to do that?

MacBook Pro, iOS 8.1.2

DO NOT remove the partition in Disk Utility. Use Boot Camp Assistant.
