Calendar event invitees are deleting events. How can I prevent this?

How can I prevent invitees from deleting the actual iCal event I created? It's happened a couple of times. I checked the HELP function and it says they are not supposed to have that capability, but it's happened twice now to an Event I created. Looking for answers and hope someone can help.
