Unresponsive phone
an app crashed so i double clicked home and closed the app. Then my screen went black and now my phone is unresponsive to everything

Hold down the home/power button for 10 seconds until it turns on again.

A forced restart may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.
