Jun 7, 2015 9:51 AM in response to Stuartby Stuart,I made some progress with this. After installing Windows 8, the R9 was not being detected correctly (as described throughout this thread). I then installed a bunch of updates so I could install Windows 8.1. For whatever reason, I had left the USB stick with the Boot Camp drivers in while the Windows 8.1 upgrade was installing, and so the Boot Camp driver installation started automatically after the 8.1 install. After that installation, the R9 is now being detected (in Device Manager). I have not gotten to do any further testing, and I also noticed that the Catalyst sub menu option is not showing up. However, resolution is able to be changed, etc.

Jun 8, 2015 3:51 PM in response to Stuartby Stuart,Just a quick update to this. My computer has been in OS X for the last few days so I am just testing out Windows 8.1. The User Experience Score (graphics) is still listed as 4.5 in Windows 8.1 (with the R9 identified) just as the same as it was in Windows 8 (with the R9 not identified). Any idea what it is supposed to be? Catalyst is installed but is not showing up anywhere, and I have tried to reinstall from the BCA, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

Jun 8, 2015 6:14 PM in response to zerophreakby TallJawa,I got it to work! I had installed Windows 8, so I upgraded to 8.1. When I logged back into windows it showed a Radeon 8800M in my device manager. So I installed the BCA drivers while at the same time running the Windows Experience Index.
Go to command prompt
Type in Winsat formal
The screen flashed for me about three or four times. I checked back in device manager and it showed the Radeon R9 M370X. I'm not sure whether it was the BCA drivers, the experience index command, or both, but it shows up now.

Jun 8, 2015 6:32 PM in response to Stuartby Stuart,So it seems to be a Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 thing. To add another note, I had to fully uninstall the AMD drivers, and then manually remove and reinstall the driver in device manager, and then reinstall the AMD BCA drivers in order for Catalyst control center to work, but it now works. And, after re-running the Winsat formal, I am now getting a Graphics Score of 7.7.

Jul 2, 2015 2:36 PM in response to Stuartby 1-0-1,Well I have the opposite problem - my ATI GPU is working fine but no sign of the Intel. Would prefer running the Intel in regards to power usage.
