i dropped my iphone 6 in water, after putting it in rice for a few days it started working . every time i power it on it doesn't get past the start up screen. help ?

You will need to bring it to your local apple store to get checked out.
It's too late since you did not take it in for service immediately. Take it in now and exchange it for a refurbished replacement.
Sorry, but it clearly is not working, at least not properly, and you need to get it replaced. Water will cause short circuits that destroy integrated circuits and internal components and that's why it won't fully power up. Take it in to Apple and pay for an out of warranty replacement. They will give you a like new factory refurbished device which will re-instate the remainder of your original warranty or 90 days (whichever is longer).
