interesting question about apple lightning to micro usb....

hi there, my dad has a samsung galaxy, and he uses a micro usb to hdmi adapter to connect his phone to our TV.., Now if i were to buy a lightning to Micro usb adapter from apple, would i be able to connect it to his adapter and basically mirror my iPhone on our TV as well?
