Hi all!
I've just brought a MacBook Air and everything is up to date and working perfectly apart from Email notifications...
Im not getting any sound when a mail comes through and only occasionally getting a banner pop up.
I've tried going through system preferences and mail preferences....notification etc, even restarted it a few times and everything that should be on is on!
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Try logging out of the mail accounts and logging back in.
Tried and failed lol
i don't get what it could be- every other notification sound works....

Is "Play sound........." enabled?
System Preferences > Notifications
Highlight Mail in the Sidebar.
Enable “Play sound for notifications”.
