safari security warning

Hi, I keep getting these popup windows while browsing the web on Safari saying adware is enabled and my computer is at risk and showing a support number I have to call immediately.I am afraid it's infected with malware/adware/virus. What shall I do? Any help would be much appreciated. Here is a screenshot of the window that is popping up:
