May 30, 2015 7:31 PM in response to Woodland Hillsby Meg St._Clair,★HelpfulNot at this time. That's just not the way it works. If the phone is locked, notifications go to the watch. If the phone is unlocked, you get them on the phone.

Feb 5, 2016 1:54 AM in response to Woodland Hillsby Jonathan UK,If you turn off Wrist Detection (on your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > Wrist Detection), all notification alerts will be delivered to both devices.
However, you will not then be able to benefit from features including Wake Screen on Wrist Raise, Apple Pay and a single unlock after placing the watch on your wrist.

Personally, I hope if the do, they make it optional. It would defeat one of the major purposes for which I go the watch.
