Q: IPad got locked and is disabled after wrong passcode was tried

Hi there

I have tried more than the time set for the apple passcode retry options and I have got my iPad disabled. I tried using the itunes but the iPad is not connecting to my mac as well as to my windows laptop where I have iTunes and some backups stored. I would like to know what are the possibilities. I am ok to erase the content and get the iPad reinstated to factory settings as well. Your help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

John

If you have Find My iPhone turned on on the device, you can log into your iCloud account on the Mac or Windows machine at iCloud.com, and click on the Find My iPhone App. Click on your device, then click on Erase Device. Once you have erased it, you can set it up either as a new phone, or you can restore it from your iCloud backup (if you have one).
