IMAP server does not accept my password

Hi,

I have been using Mail to fetch my mail from an IMAP server for months now without problems. A couple of days ago, the server rejected my password. I deleted my account and started a new one - same problem. I don't know what to do to fix the problem. Interestingly, I can fetch and send mail from my iPhone and iPad! I can also use webmail and the Groupwise application to get my mail but not with Mail on my Mac.

I am using Yosemite but Mail worked fine with this system until a couple of days ago. Therefore, I don't understand why it would stop working suddenly.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Leo

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Or you can use your Apple ID to register with this site and go the Apple BugReporter. Supposedly you will get an answer if you submit feedback.
