I Can play TV shows with AirPlay from the channel 10 app no problems ...But Channel 9 and sometimes Ch 7 the commercials play perfectly on the TV but when the TV show returns .....my Apple TV switches back to the app page and I can only 'hear' not see the TV show from the TV app channel .. Anyone know why ? And if so do you know a fix for it ...thanks 🙂

Some providers block Airplay from working on your device.
I'm not sure I understand your reply...If their commercials play ok.....then why dont their tv shows...?... Cant be blocked if their commercials are playing and Im trying to play these from their Apps..
The commercials are separate, they would be blocking the licensed content (show) from playing.
Well thats stupid eh! Why ,bother having an App so you can play it on your iPad ....and also able to mirror the show to the tv From your iPad.....Only to block them from actual Apple TV? ..It doesnt make sense at all..
I Would just like to watch the tv shows without having to mirror them....Channel 10 even have their own App on the Apple TV app screen......Which is great btw....
The app is for playing it on your iPad, it is not able to mirror/AirPlay because the developer has chosen to block this (usually due to licensing restrictions).
Yes I can Mirror the tv shows from my iPad.....
MIrroring would still be done through Apple TV, the developer either hasn't enabled basic AirPlay or has chosen to block that specific function.
AirPlay won't work for some TV channels
