iPad in Sauna
Can I use my iPad in a 140 degree sauna for 30 minutes without damaging it? Moisture is non-existent - it is heated by infrared. It is only the heat issue I am concerned with.

I have been using my iPad Air 2 in my infrared sauna for a year and a half using it 3+ times a week and I have no problems with it at all.
That well exceeds the operating specifications - http://www.apple.com/ipad-air-2/specs/

Since your device is long out of warranty, the issue may be moot to you as any repairs or replacement you may wish in the future will be out of warranty anyway.
But for someone with a device still in warranty, this is foolish. Water damage voids your warranty, even on the water resistant iPhone 7 models. And a repeated exposure to a highly condensing environment will indeed trigger the water exposure sensors in the device. Even if used in a dry sauna, the (very) hot device will experience condensation when you come out of the sauna and it is back in an ambient environment. As such, it is very likely to cause internal damage from corrosion and electrical shorting, and the heat alone greatly exceeds the operating environment specs.
It is of course your device to do with as you wish. But such use is certainly not to be recommended, and anyone doing so should at least acknowledge that if there are issues, their warranty will be voided and they will have to pay for repairs or replacement.
Do what you're going to do, but it's kinda like using an iPhone in the swimming pool....accept the responsibility for your choices and acknowledge that, while it may work, it's not recommended.
