i noticed that my mac is only using 200gb out of 250gb (wich is the harddrive's capacity).
i tried repairing disk permissions and i checked if the harddrive and partition were damaged, they were not.
my drive is partitioned to use 250gb.
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), mid 2007

That is because that is all you are using.

Perhaps you should post in your native language, then.
Do you understand the difference between "used" and "available" space?
I'm not going to do that and i did not even notice that i used the word used...
