Why do I keep getting Rya.rockyou.com Certificate window?

I've had this for several months and have called Apple about it for a few months and nothing they do seems to help.

It first started when I played WWF on Facebook. Apple did some stuff, and the problem disappeared for awhile.

Yesterday I got first the certificate while playing WWF, then again in the middle of the screen. Apple Care had me say never accept the certificate and do a few things to prevent it and today it keeps coming back.

If you Google Rya.rockyou.com this is not an unknown problem. I haven't seen anyone find a solution to stop this?

Anyway have any ideas? I have no viruses, no unauthorized adware and my computer was supposedly set to not allow this?

I'm not tech savvy so please dumb down any answer. Thanks

The website, or one that you visited before it clearly has been hacked. Look in your History menu to find out what you visited before WWF to see if it includes anything that may be unsavory. If it is, then that's the source. Your best bet is to close all open tabs, and simply enter in http://www.duckduckgo.com/ That's a search engine that uses no cookies, and lets you browse pretty clean of anything messy. Popup windows are nefarious for appearing both on a site, and after you visited a site that has some unsavory characters. If you have sites that you use passwords with on the web browser, you'll want someone to sit down with you and clean out only the cookies for sites you don't need. Otherwise, clean out all the cookies in the browser security preferences.

Download Etrecheck and run it, and copy/paste its results here. It could indicate if you accidentally downloaded something malicious that causes it to keep on coming up.

I use WWF through Facebook. After the first time I did a seriously cleaning of stuff here and was ok. I'll be fine for a few months then things pop up again.

I have no extensions. I've deleted the history and cookies and it hasn't helped. Apple set it up so if I get something bad in Launch Agent or Launch Demon I get an alert. In spite of that I periodically go and check Launch Daemons and Launch Agents to make sure there is nothing there.

I never open Pop ups or 3rd party stuff. There didn't seem to be any link between something I did and when this started.

I have used DuckDuckGo but I don't like it. I can't remember if I was using it when this started. I can try it again.

Here is the info you wanted from etrecheck.

I just called Go Daddy. They say they revoked the certificate since they probably did not pay but because it generally happens when I"m on WWF on Facebook Or have it open,it is a Facebook issue.

I have a Facebook Cleaner and Adblock so I'll see if that helps, but I think the last time I used AdBlock it messed up Google. I'll have to play with DuckDuckGo.

Since I don't understand this, I'm not sure how to proceed.

Why do I keep getting Rya.rockyou.com Certificate window?
