I just purchased a Mac Nvidia GeForce 6800 Ultra graphics card to replace my dying Mac Nvidia 9600 Pro.
Can't boot past the multi language restart message on startup.
Need the driver,and have tried so many locations online to no avail.
Someone out there have a driver I can download or software for this card?
need driver-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.5.8), geforce 6800 ultra
Just checking,but it's for sure not a PC card? It is a Mac ROM card?

I finally got it to work.
Removed the battery on motherboard and waited 15 minutes before putting it back in.
While waiting I removed the old card and put in the new one.
After the 15 min I booted and it recognised the card,no problem,checked graphics properties
and it showed the new card.
So I guess the battery is used to power the boot settings info,which had the old card in the startup sequence?

This has been a learning experience since I usually only build PC's
