I have an Iphone 5. I deleted my old playlist in order to reload a new playlist. However, my ITunes doesn't allow me to connect as it did before. Why?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like the iPhone is not being recognized by the computer. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
