Just trying to figure out if what someone told me was true. It would be awesome if you could see the last known location of your iphone before it died. I have the 6 but it did not show any last known location, just said the phone is off.

The information is only available if the phone was online. The last location is saved for 24 hours. Try looking for the information using the Find My Phone app on your @iCloud.com web page.

Incorrect. It will show you the last known location whether it is online or offline. For up to 24 hours after it was last located.
i heard somewhere that when using the iphone 6 and find my iphone, that even if the phone is offline, the app would show you the last known location. Is this true?
