When I search on safari it goes black why is it doing this and how can I fix it

WWhen I search on the safari the page loads and turns blank and black but when I minismise it to the different tabs you can see the search why is it doing this and what can I do to fix it !

It may help to force close all open apps and reset your iPad.


Force an app to close in iOS

Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

If searches on Safari are still blanking out, the next step would be to reinstall iOS on your device by placing it in Recovery Mode, then choosing Update in iTunes.



  1. Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
  2. Put your device in recovery mode.
  3. When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.
