My Sons ipod recently had the screen fixed after being unusable for a long time. We are now unable to connect it to wifi as it constantly asks for Apple ID password for I cloud but this will not work as it is not connected to wifi. how can we turn these reminders off?

Fix the wifi problem.
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tends to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks take it back to the person who repaired it. It seems then messed something up. Apple will not help if somebody else took the iPod apart
Try and do a full restore via iTunes.
Thank you for your quick responses. lllaass - I can't connect to any wifi as the password message comes up every 2/3 seconds so the ipod isn't getting a chance to connect to any network. but I can't put a password in as it's not connected to the internet so seem to be going in circles. Is there a manual way of factory resetting it as I can't fully reset it as cannot put password in. I can't connect it to iTunes as my computer is unable to download it.
You can go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings.
However, since you do not have iTunes on your computer you will have to connect to the internet via wifi to set it up.
Yo might have to go to a computer with iTunes and an internet connection to set it up.
