My instagram doesn't show my photos when trying to upload

Whenever I try to upload a picture on Instagram and try to select a picture from my Photo's folder it only shows around 70 pictures with some very old ones. I have around 2200 pictures in my Photo's folder when I check it in the 'normal' app. I recently updated my Macbook and am now using Photo's on my mac and I remember changing some setting that has to do with iCloud but I'm not sure if that has done any harm...

Can anyone help? 😀
