have an iphone 6` Just found out that someone that lives across town can see my incoming imessages,but don't see my outgoing messages.Confused how this could happen and would like it to stop.Any ideas?

I understand that another device other than yours is receiving iMessages. This could be a result of a old device not being erased prior to being used by another party. Another scenario would be that an Apple ID is being shared. You check to see if an old device is attached to your Apple ID or iCloud account by following the steps in the article below.
iCloud: Remove your device from Find My iPhone
You also can change your Apple ID or iCloud account password as this should solve the issue.
