How to disable sub ports on Mac.

My sister dropped her macbook pro 13 inch 2013, on the side of the USB, FireWire, Ethernet ports and now there's a kernel task tasking up 98% of the CPU. after a bit of research I'm guessing that some of these ports are constantly sending faulty messages and taking up cpu power. Is there a way of disabling all the io? otherwise, does anyone know what else could be causing this? Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I've already done this and they quoted me nearly $1000 to replace the logic board, which is why I'm looking to fix it myself.

you can try replace DC- In Board by yourself, its a board where all ports are

I can understand your feeling very well.

Even if you succeeded in disabling the ports, the Mac would not be of much use to you, or your sister. Why not look for a replacement at a reasonable price. If you live in the United States, these refurbished MBPs look good.
