How to open iCal automatically at the current date?

Hello

It's not a really important issue but I liked to know if it's possible to open automatically at the "today date" each time I open it.

When I consult future date or meeting or past date or meetings, and close iCal then it automatically open at the last date or meeting I consulted.

Is it possible to change that?

Maybe with automator script?
