My time machine disc will not stay unlocked. I've clicked on the lock, and inputted my password, but then it locks again. I've looked in the security and general, I've repaired the disc. I'm about out of patience.

Any 3rd Party drive SW installed?
Is Spotlight trying to index it & failing?
