my iphone got wet, help me please :(

i dropped my iphone 5s in the water COMPLETELY, then it was turning off itself, i clean the excess water inside out, tried to plugged it but just the apple logo came out. leave it for 24 hours, and then keep it in rice for 24 hours, then i tried to turn it on, but it wont work. the apple logo are flashing if only i plugged it in. what should i do?

and, the LCI indicator inside the iphone turned red too. will apple cover it for warranty? 😟

please help me.. because this iphone is just 7 month old.

No, your warranty is now completely voided. I'm afraid a replacement is your only option at this point as it surely is damaged beyond recovery (water causes electrical shorts which destroy the circuitry of the internal components). You can pay Apple the out of warranty fee and get a like new replacement.

Only Apple can answer that for sure. We're just regular users, just as subject to the vagaries and foibles of whichever Genius or store manager turns up during a Store visit.

Had you purchased an AppleCare+ extension, then the answer would have been YES, to the tune of $80.
