how do I delete photos from aperture?

I want to clean up my Aperture before I change to Lightroom. How do I delete photos from Aperture.

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), iOS 8.3

To delete Photos from Aperture select them in the Browser and press ⌘⌫

Then empty the Aperture Trash.
