27 Cinema display from 2011 making high-pitched sound

27 inch display bought in 2011 makes weird high-pitch sound, periodically. Sounds just like induction plate on max. I suspect the adapter, but the store I bought it in could not replicate the sound when they had it in for repair, so they refused to do anything, although I had video and sound proof for them. Anybody knows what this is?
