What is involved with trading in a forth gen iPod for a newer model?
iPod touch, iOS 6.1.6, It's a fourth generation iPod
Apple will only give you a 10% recycling discount if you turn in an old iPod when you purchase a new one. Better off selling it yourself if the 4G works.
Other options could be to sell them for store credit. I know I sold my 4G iPod for $70 store credit at Best Buy (my iPod was in very good condition and categorized 'like new' so what you get is based on the condition etc of your device)
Last I knew, Amazon also buys devices, and I know there are other retailers that will do the same.
So another avenue for you to explore.
