iPad2 cannot get photos from SM card
My iPad suddenly cannot read photos from my SM card, although it does acknowledge that the SM card is recognized. I don't know how to fix this. Any help available?

If by SM card you mean SD Card:
How did the photos get onto the card?
If you manually placed them on there, they need to be in a folder called DCIM on the root of the card, and have names 8 characters long with 3 character extensions. i.e image004.jpg. Just like a camera would use.
It is my SD card. I have successfully used this card in my camera to store photos and then transfer them to my iPad for a few years. Suddenly it recognizes that the card is inserted into the iPad and is ready to import the photos but does't recognize that there any photos to import. The photos are indeed on the SD card. Nothing else has changed.
SD cards can die. i have a couple of them that stopped working. whenever you notice something fishy with SDs, better throw them away before you lose pictures or videos you cannot take again...
try whether your iPad recognizes photos on another SD. if so, your original SD is broken.
No, it didn't solve my problem. I don't know why the green square is clicked to say that it did. : (
I tried using the SD card to my PC and it worked just fine. Any other suggestions?
How are the photos placed on the card?
How are you inserting the photos into the iPad. (iPads do to have an SD card slot) I assume you are using the SD camera reader attachment.
You need to provide details of what you are doing.
sorry, this is not what i suggested.
you want to check with another SD whether your ipad can read that one.
Well, in the meantime, you can copy the photo to you computer. Use dropbox.com to transfer from your computer to your ipad.
